Message from Dr. Cory Crocker

Hello and welcome to Berith Ministries Ministries.  I am hoping that the information you find on this website helps you have a better understanding of who and what we are, as well as help you grow in Christ.  My desire is to see the Body of Christ with all its part to develop a Vision, Passion and Excellence.  This is what it means to be a Covenant Believer, to be a Christian.

Vision

Where there is no revelation (prophetic vision), the people cast off restraint…

Proverbs 29:17-19 (New King James Version)

Our Vision is that none should perish (2 Peter 3:9).  We are to live out the Great Commission as a corporate body of believers and as individual members of Berith Ministries Ministries.  God’s vision for us is to first reach out to the “whoso ever” in our local community (the broke, busted, disgusted, least, last and the lost). Our calling is to evangelize and disciple.  Secondly, we are to translate God’s vision into reality or as someone once said “practice what we preach”. We cannot expect others to do that which we do not live out 24/7/365. “Dear friends, do you think you’ll get anywhere in this if you learn all the right words but never do anything? Does merely talking about faith indicate that a person really has it? For instance, you come upon an old friend dressed in rags and half-starved and say, “Good morning, friend! Be clothed in Christ! Be filled with the Holy Spirit!” and walk off without providing so much as a coat or a cup of soup—where does that get you? Isn’t it obvious that God-talk without God-acts is outrageous nonsense?” James 2:14 (The Message)

Passion

“…God’s holy people passionately and faithfully stand their ground.”

Revelation 13:10 (The Message)

Nothing great can be accomplished without passion.  It simply is not enough to believe in something it is whether you are whole heartily passionate about it; are you willing to lay your life down for it (John 15:13, Revelation 12:11).  Passionate people with a pure and holy Passionate Purpose is what the world is looking for.  People are tired of burned out, worn out, lifeless churches.  God’s children are starving and crying out for passionate churches and passionate Christians.  People want to see the reality of Christ, with signs, wonders and miracles to them that believe (Mark 16 15-18, Hebrews 2:4).  This reality will only be seen in people totally committed to Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Excellence

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might….

Ecclesiastes 9:10 (New American Standard Bible)

Excellence can be obtained if you: …care more than others think is wise; …risk more than others think is safe; …dream more than others think is practical; …expect more than others think is possible.”

Excellence is the patient perseverance of doing the ordinary extraordinarily well.  God’s mandate to the church is excellence in all we do.  There is no substitute for excellence – not even success.  We are to strive to make our good better and, our better its best.  We must continually ask is there one more thing I can do, then do it.   Excellence is an attitude.  The Body of Christ must pursue excellence in all it does: worship, service and obedience to Christ.

With Vision, Passion, and Excellence Berith Ministries will be able to share and demonstrate the Love of Christ in both word and deeds. Walking in the integrity of God, purposed to see the Great Commission fulfilled and under the power of the Holy Spirit we see that “Nothing is impossible with God”.
